Apprenticeship in Permaculture at Ermitaj Malin
Joining the apprenticeship program at Ermitaj Malin is much more than just an internship: it’s a full immersion into a permaculture lifestyle, where hands-on learning and skill-sharing come together to help you develop your abilities and autonomy while advancing your own professional project.
What is an apprenticeship?
Inspired by artisanal traditions, the apprenticeship in permaculture is based on learning through practice in a real and functional context. By working closely with our mentors, you will actively participate in on-site projects while receiving support to develop your own ideas or professional initiatives.
What You Will Learn
The apprenticeship at Ermitaj covers a variety of fields, with a personalized approach to match your interests and needs:
- Permaculture design: Learn to analyze, plan, and create sustainable systems adapted to different contexts.
- Regenerative agricultural techniques: Agroforestry, food forests, and regenerative gardening.
- Eco-construction: Discover and apply sustainable techniques for building or renovating.
- Water and soil management: Preserve, optimize, and restore these vital resources.
- Community living and collaboration: Develop skills in collective organization, project management, and participatory governance.
Another unique benefit of Ermitaj: you’ll have the chance to participate as a student or assistant in courses held on-site (such as PDCs or thematic trainings).
