Ermitaj has always been envisioned as a collective project, driven by a shared vision and nurtured by the contributions of each individual. Since its creation, it has experienced both dynamic periods and quieter phases, yet its essence remains unchanged: a space for experimentation and knowledge-sharing dedicated to permaculture, resilience, and cooperation.
Today, we remain open to new collaborations and fresh energy, actively seeking individuals who are ready to get involved. If you want to contribute to Ermitaj’s development, several options are available:
—- Become a Project Holder —-
Do you have an idea you’d like to bring to life at Ermitaj? We welcome project holders, whether for short-term initiatives or long-term engagements, with or without a defined end date. Projects can be personal or collective, as long as they align with our vision and values.
—- Become a Long-Term Resident —-
We also welcome long-term residents, subject to an application process and a trial period.
The conditions are outlined in a detailed document that explains the progressive integration process, expectations regarding contributions to the site, and financial participation for the use of infrastructure.
Please note that the guesthouse is currently in a basic state (we hope to secure funding for renovations), but it remains habitable. There is also space available for installing lightweight housing.
We prioritize residents who also take on projects contributing to Ermitaj’s development, although this is not a strict requirement.
